With ABHA, they can access patient medical records online with consent and be identified as one of the trusted, verified healthcare practitioners in the country.

ABHA number is a unique 14-digit health ID. For doctors, ABHA facilitates easy links to patient prescriptions, lab reports and more. This can be generated easily by using Mobile Number in minutes. The account, once created, lets providers such as hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and healthcare professionals access patient documents with ease from anywhere in the country thus facilitating a healthy and integrated healthcare ecosystem.
Doctors can also help their patients create an ABHA ID or create the ABHA ID for their patients.
There are 2 ways of getting ABDM compliant, you can either create your HPR & HFR ID and login with Bajaj Finserv App for relevant functionalities or you can get on boarded on Bajaj Finserv for Doctors and get your HFR ID created automatically
As a doctor, you need to create your HPR ID and HFR ID
Once your IDs are created, you can login on the DRx portal/Bajaj Finserv Health for doctors portal using these IDs

Mandatory participation is not mandated by the government. So, a doctor or healthcare professional can choose to become a part of the mission by creating an account. Similarly, the organization or doctor can also step back out of the mission by deactivating (permanently/temporarily) the account

Creating an ABHA ID for your patients is simple. However, ensure their mobile number with which they wish to register is handy as well as active.
Go to the Bajaj Finserv Health app. If they do not have the app, they can download the app here: https://v9xf1.app.link/apTE1JASatb
On the app homepage, either click on 'add patient' or 'add appointment' or 'go to patient profile page' & click on the 'Add ABHA address'
Enter their mobile number to register and ask patient for OTP send via National Health Authority
Select existing ABHA address or click on 'create new ABHA address'
If there is an existing ABHA address, it will be linked automatically or Fill in the basic patient details with new ABHA address and click on 'create'
You book an appointment by linking ABHA
Check the tick box - for pushing the records to patient's health vault
A patient's consent is vital to seeking their health information. As a verified doctor or healthcare provider, you can:

Step 3: Click on 'Request New Consent'
Step 4: Fill the details & send to patient
Health Professional ID: The HPR is a unique ID given to doctors identifying them as the registered members of HPR under ABDM and NHA.
Health Facility ID: The HFR is the unique ID given to healthcare facilities like hospitals, clinics, labs under ABDM and NHA. This helps to identify them as trusted healthcare providers and facilitators in the country.
