Shroff Eye Centre Central Delhi CSR Activities:
The Shroff Eye Centre facilities are made freely available to the weaker sectors of society in order to continue the tradition of charity established by Dr. S.P. Shroff and to realize the vision of serving all sections of society.
The Dr. Minoo Shroff Memorial Trust manages all of Shroff Eye Centre's humanitarian endeavors. For the benefit of the less fortunate members of society, three different outpatient clinics are being operated. The Delhi Commonwealth Women's Association (DCWA), the SAVERA Association, the Kailash Colony branch of the Shroff Eye Clinic, and the exclusive Dr. Minoo Shroff Memorial Trust OPD all manage charitable dispensaries in Zamrudpur hamlet, where these clinics are held.
Patients who have been checked at the charitable dispensaries and need additional specialist testing, research, or care, including surgery, are seen at the Shroff Eye Centre, where they receive care completely free of charge. They have access to a special operating room and a six-bed inpatient unit.
In these clinics throughout the past three years, 16914 people have been examined, and 3840 refractions have been carried out. A total of 1875 surgeries, including cataract and retinal procedures, as well as 137 corneal transplant procedures, have been performed during this time.
The generosity of various benefactors makes it feasible for the Minoo Shroff Memorial trust to carry out many of its operations. All of the donations that make it possible for the philanthropic work to be done are gratefully acknowledged by Shroff Eye Centre.
Dr. Shroff's Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), Daryaganj also counts Drs. Noshir Shroff, Cyrus Shroff, and Daraius Shroff are among its trustees, senior consultants, and advisers. The hospital's mission is to eradicate blindness in India, especially among the poor, by creating an accessible, self-sufficient model institution with performance criteria that have received international approval and that is dedicated to patient care, quality, and excellence.
