Sankara Eye Hospital Guntur Founders & Team:

In May 1977, Dr. R.V. Ramani and his wife, Dr. Radha Ramani, established a Primary Health Care Center for the Underprivileged in Coimbatore, motivated by the Shankaracharya of Kanchi. The program expanded to 12 Medical Centers in 9 states servicing 1000 patients every day with the aid of the Best Eye Doctors In India, providing volunteer services and the assistance of Coimbatore's Resident Community.

CSR activities:

Gift of Vision: Sankara Eye Foundation India's primary program, Gift of Vision, aims to bring free eye treatment to rural India's porches. They assist the elderly under Gift of Vision by utilizing their network of field workers, medical professionals, and ambulances. Good eyesight cannot be overstated, especially for poor rural people who struggle to make ends meet and maintain their independence. But it's usual for people to ignore this pressing need and accept the progressive loss of their vision, which eventually results in complete and irreversible blindness.
