On January 1st, 2000, Shija Hospitals introduced the first private ambulance service in Manipur. Shija formed a partnership with ZHL to develop Shija Manipur Ambulance Service, a current premium ambulance company, to assist the citizens of Manipur and its adjacent regions by offering emergency services akin to 108 National Ambulance Service ( Ziqitza Health Care Limited).
SHIJA EYE FOUNDATION- A division of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Shija Eye Care Foundation is the premier facility for the management of sight issues. The facility is staffed by highly skilled eye care professionals and is situated on the tranquil hillsides of environmentally friendly Langol. Today, the center offers diagnoses and medication for a variety of eye-related issues. With its extensive array of cutting-edge analytical, rehabilitative, and prophylactic facilities, as well as its highly skilled and knowledgeable medical as well as paramedical staff, Shija Eye Care Foundation has developed into a leading eye care center in the area. In May 2013, SHRI launched the Mission Myanmar initiative with the explicit intention of uniting the two countries as part of its assistance to the neighboring country. There have already been three major expeditions in the continuance of its service, during which 134 cleft lip and palate procedures, 179 cataract surgeries, and 32 keyhole procedures were all provided without charge.
