Namaha Hospital Founders and Team:

Ramaben D. Kapadia, a doctor, was born on January 2nd, 1921. Her relationship with rural areas of developing states began when she wed Mr. Dhansukhlal Kapadia, a renowned attorney, and entrepreneur from Navsari, in 1940. She proceeded into healthcare and completed her clinical training at Seth G. S. Medical College and K E M Hospital in Bombay after being married, and subsequent support from her husband facilitated her to also polish her skills in the field of obstetrics at the Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital in Mumbai. She began her general practice in Navsari in October 1947, and on March 12, 1948, she opened Ramaben Hospital, a relatively small medical facility.

In 1951, Dr. Vipul Kapadia was conceived at Ramaben Hospital. As a top student, he accomplished his clinical training and coursework at Seth G. S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Bombay. He relocated to Navsari to work at Ramaben Hospital after completing his training and Fellowships. The facility his mother built needed to be upgraded and expanded if Dr. Vipul Kapadia was to provide the greatest treatment and services to the residents of Navsari and South Gujarat. In 1979, he began working for himself as a specialist obstetrician and gynecologist. His tireless efforts and perseverance enabled Ramaben Hospital to become a 100-bed, cutting-edge super specialty hospital for women.
